"Butterflies are Magic" is a uniquely beautiful program about the life cycle of the butterflies and silk moths.
The loveliest creatures of the day and the mysteriously beautiful denizens of the night are an enigma to us all. Explore the fascinating world of butterflies and moths from the tiniest egg to the gossamer-winged adult.
Beautiful color slides are shown along with live insects and preserved specimens from all over the world. Ladybug-sized bright gold beetles and amazing larvae with huge eye spots are just several in a cast of many wonderful live insects that are displayed. This program enhances the second grade study of butterfly life cycles.
The entire day fee is $450. Single one-hour programs begin at $175. All fees are negotiable.
If the school is in a wooded area, Lisa can take the students collecting at no additional cost.
Dear Mrs. Nowakowski:
"Thank you for coming to our school and presenting to the second graders again this year. They love to have you share with them your storehouse of knowledge, especially about butterflies and moths. Your sample specimens were beautiful. You took time to answer their questions, taught them new vocabulary, and showed them wonderful slides. I hope we will be able to use you to enrich our Growth and Change unit in science again next year. You may share my letter with anyone, I would gladly recommend you to another teacher."
-Sincerely yours, Linda Smith Second Grade Teacher, Forest Lakes Elementary
